Question will having factory parts installed by factory but bought elsewhere void my warranty

i was planning to purchase a nismo exhaust from the dealer ship and have it installed but have found it for a few hundred $ less online, will having it installed at the dealer still void my warranty?

It shouldn't, infact having the nismo exhaust installed anywhere shouldn't void your warranty, I think they look more at the part then the install.

Please read your warranty. What does it say?

No matter who installs it, you always get the basic Nismo parts warranty (1 year IIRC). If you purchase Nismo parts and have them installed by the dealer at time of delivery, they get the car's 3 year coverage. That's true for S-Tune parts, no warranty for R-Tuned parts.

The dealership/manufacturer can NOT "void your warranty"

If you make a mod, and if they can prove that it caused a specific problem or failure, they can deny that claim.
