Default **BREMBO Rotors or NON BREMBO**

I have a 2007 350Z Grand Touring Roadster with 95k miles. I have the original factory Brembo Rotors which need to be replaced and I need new pads. Obviously I would love to buy OEM Brembo Rotors and pads and keep my car all stock factory parts, but after doing a little research the best I can come up with is roughly $450 a piece which for Rotors and Pads is roughly $2000 just for parts alone. I just do regular day to day driving and don't drive my car hard. My question is is there an alternative that's more cost effective? Is there a cheaper way to get Brembo Rotors and Pads?
Thanks..

I used the drilled/slotted Centric/Stop-Tech and i'm happy with them now. I was not originally as drilling should make it lighter but it's 1/2lb heavier. For your purpose and mine (08 Roadster GT) they are an excellent alternative. I wish I could have got drilled only. Has anyone seen the rotors on the 2016 Audi S7, looks like my CBR 1000RR rotors (bad ***). I got them online and since their not a sponsor, I won't mention them even though it's in many threads.

You can get the OEM pads at a discount if you google hard enough. I am using Endless SSH which are quieter, less dust and seem to wear less on the street but they do not have the metal wear tabs.

You can also get OEM rotors at a slight discount online as well but mine were defective and had a really bad groove on the drivers inside plate. I recycled them for $1.65 for all 4.

You can get generic rotors and pads for your brembos from any auto parts store.

Pads and rotors are consumable parts. Its like you saying "I want to get OEM Nissan motor oil from the dealership." Well...why?

I've got the Centric C-Tek rotors for the Brembo's on my '08, and have been very pleased with them. They're plated, so the hats and edges don't rust, and they seem to wear very well. Here's a link to a site vendor:

Cost is ~$300 for all 4. For pads, my preference is the EBC Redstuff, but be aware, everyone will have a different opinion on both pads and rotors. The EBCs wear well, don't beat up the, are quiet, and make virtually no dust. They also work great cold or hot. I buy them from Amazon, and all 4 corners will cost a bit over $200. Let me know if you want part numbers. I've been using the EBC pads for at least 10 years on all of my cars.

I use the Centric's as well. I know A LOT of people with Brembo's on their car. I don't know a single one who uses Brembo pads or rotors.
