The VB is physically different than the one in my 2006 G. I was clear and up front about it. I did not receive a trans code from CreaminZ. If you check with the companies who do the VB mods the reason they dont do cores is because their are differences even is the same year cars and they only do the VBs you take out of your working trans. I offered it to you becase you had posted in the for original for sale thread and since you had a 2005, not a 2006 like me.

Here is a classic case of BUYER BEWARE. It's not even that, it's more like do some fuking research before you tarnish someone's rep that's been a member of this site before you were even able to drive.

MardiGras....you made the reference that companies will only do the VB upgrade out of YOUR OWN working transmission and I agree with that because thats how I did mine. If you knew that why would you of bought the VB from creaminz knowing it probably wouldn't work, and then turn around and sell it to someone else.

I did pay attention. He told me that the reason that it didn't work was because his G was an 06, which was a LIE and he knew it. Sure looking back on it I wish I had looked into it a little deeper before i bought it, but at the same time i would like to think that i can take someone on this site at there word when they tell me something. You guys act like the pm proved me wrong when actually it proved me right. He said it didn't work because his was different than the one in the FX which it WASN'T. Coachk seems to understand whats going on here anyway. At least someone does

The VB was physically different than mine. As I now know through "after the fact" research, the transmissions are different. The "model number" of the trans, RE5R05A, is the same accross the board, G, Z, Titan, FX, anything 5AT. The transmission "codes" are different. In my 2006 G FSM it lists two different codes, 97X3D, 98X2A. Im sorry it didnt work in your 2005 Z Id imagine the only car it would work in would be a 2005 FX. As I found out afterwards the trans are different.
