Default New Bumper

i had the pleasure of comin out from damon's wednesday night and seein white paint all over the back of brickyard z. 1st guy i went to, who was highly recommended, estimated about 560 bucks with a new piece. the back isn't bad; just some minor warping. i don't know if i should tell him to fix mine or get a new piece. the back panel is around 250. i don't even have the damn thing a week and this happens. what would u guys think i should pay for something like this, and should i get the new bumper?

I bend mine up pretty feirce, had to replace it cause it actually cracked in one spot. but anyway, after removing it I tried to "pop" it back out, as it seemed it was possible. I tried hard, but it wasnt popable, it was bent, like metal would, but even metal would have popped back out the way mine was bent.

you could try fixing it, because it is so firm but bendable youd be able to most likely fix it, but in the reflection youd see an imperfection.

new bumper is like you said around 250, but expect to pay about 200 to paint it. thats what it cost me.

then still more to install it unless you can do it yourself. it wasnt too hard to do, but it depends how comfortable with it you are. I could give you some guidance on this if you need it.

depends how **** you are about getting this fixed back to PERFECT, vs how much money you have to spend.

if you want to feel like its less of a loss, and were looking for a body kit anyway, depending where the dent is, if its below the turn signal light, you can use any kit, if it extends higher, you can use the ings +1, or veilside ver 2 or 3. those 3 replace the entire bumper, and all 3 run right around 700$ for bumper only... a good bit more, but if you intended to get one of these anyway, may as well do it now.

body kits are pretty popular, good companies will hopefully put out a good product, otherwise they can fit poorly which is never fun. but most of the major brands should do good by you.

or hey, that bumpers gotta weigh a good 10 lbs, just yank it off and call it weight reduction.
