Not being critical . . . just stating facts. Driving 20 miles is hardly a criteria I consider an average 30+ mpg. And you're wondering why everyone is making fun of your thread & no one has signed up on your 30+ mpg club. Maybe you should join Green Peace! Adios!

Admit it, this was on the highway with you going normal highway speeds. The only time I got over 30 was doing exactly that and after a few minutes, it went back down to 22-24.

You slow drivers are no fun!
Get out of the fast lane so the rest of us Z's can get by!
24 mpg @ 85-100 mph avg speed, ATL to SAV!

The true way to figure gas mileage is by MPG per tank. Pretty easy; fill-it up, drive until about empty, and fill-it up. Divide total miles traveled by gallons in on 2nd fill-up = MPG.

What’s shown on all the pics of the trip computer mean nothing. That is sooo easily manipulated.

Frankly, I don’t believe the Z can get more than 30-32 MPG at highway speeds (65-80MPH) on a full tank.

Like I said before, my best was 29.1 MPG -highway speeds with cruise control on and no A/C.

You do get a serious mpg gain drafting behind semis but dont really trust them. They tend to get pissed easily though so i dont recommend driving behind them too long.

Boyah! I know i dont meet the 65 mph.. but this was in virginia.. any one know about the new laws associated with speeding in VA? hence my hesitation. I surely dont think a 5-7 mph diff would make more of a 1000 rpm diff? SO? am I IN?!!?
