Anyone ever notice that all of the Zs in the Nissan press pics (nissanusa.com) have Michelin Pilot Sports tires? I wonder why they decided to use the Potenzas instead.

Although it does seem odd that the luxo brand got the better tires. My take is that they were still under development for the Z but they ran into some problems. They didn't want to delay the launch of the Z so they went with the Potenzas and the problem was corrected in time for the G35 launch.
So how come they are not offered on the Z right now? Michelin and Nissan signed a contract for the pilots to be on the G35c. I think they signed a similar contract with Bridgestone. So once that contract expires... then maybe?
