Default I promised myself I wouldn't....(mod bug)

I promised myself that I wouldn't mod the Z. But I can't help it for some reason. I am getting new tires for it (Falken 912s), but that doesn't really count. Ugh, now I have this sudden urge for a simple little mod - probably an intake or something. I just hope it doesn't lead to more mods purchased.

Anybody still stockin' it like I am?

Dude you're screwed. For the first 2 years I was only allowing myself to spend $2,000 on a few minor things. In just 12 months I spent almost $8,000. I killed my mod bug, too bad I didn't squash it sooner

Yeah, I thought after I had fun with my 5th gen Maxima that I'd be done with modding.

*adds clear corners, rear-deck lip, and intake to list*

sigh

I just try and pick up small stuff when the budget allows . Drop in filter here plenum there that kinda stuff . But it kills me not trying to use good ol visa card to quench the mod bug .

Promises, promises. You know we're all a bad influence.

yeah, a few mods here and there won't hurt. Maybe one or 2 a month will suffice.

You'll have new wheels on it by the end of the year...

I'm trying to keep my Z in a modest mod track. Trying to not build the car without any shortcuts. If I don't have enough $ I won't go a cheaper route. Being on this forum doesn't help too =] A grip of you guys have some dope cars that some of us stock owners envy. That's cool, it's always exciting to see what others are doing to their Z's.

That's one thing I'd never get rid of, my polished OEM 5-spokes. Sooo sexy. If I get new rims, I'd stick with lightweight 18s, and still keep the 5-spokes.

Exclamation

I guess that you missed the thread on the blown out Falken tire and all the negative posts about that brand.
