Ah, the TE37s are 6-spoke. Those look like 5-spoke, plus they seem to be made of magnesium. Does Volk make magnesium street wheels?

I accidentally ran over a really big curb when I drove the Brickyard with the racing wheels to my house to take that pic, thus the poor alignment of the wheels. Sorry, oh yeah, in case anyone was wondering, it went REALLY FAST!

I hope this doesn't qualify as flaming, but that brickyard photochop looks like complete ***, and i'm not talking about the alignment.

I think black rims look dumb on any car that's not an actual race car.

I'm I alone on this?

 

Also smaller opening in the front of the car for all those license plates freaks (like me).

 

It does look like stock exhaust, but what are the two outlets just above the license plate slot?

Just so you know, I never said that I liked it, I just did it cause someone said they wanted to see what it would look like.

 

I have seen some very well executed black rims on a non-racing vehicle. I think it is very dependent on the color of the car and the style of wheel. Gemballa makes an interesting wheel for Porsches with a black center section and a polished lip. It looks very good on the black car. Just my opinion though.
