I recieved an unsolicited phone call today from my dealer. He says my car will be arriving on September 5 th. The first of 6 preorders at that dealership. Needless to say , I have my reservations as to the accuracy of the delivery date, but he has been up front thus far. Previously, he let me know about the delay of August deliveries promptly. I ask about the VIN number and he said he had an incomplete number. The last 6 numbers were missing . ( not sent yet.) I am certainly confused by this. Also, he does not know the exact date when any others will arrive though he expects more in September.

Cautiously optimistic and EXCITED.....

Talked with Moultrie today and they still haven't got my arrival date but they got one on one that was ordered on 02/04/02. Mine was ordered on 01/12/02. This is starting to **** me off but you can bet they will get a call tomorrow and try to explain why you have already gotten yours and I haven't mine, since we ordered ours 30 miles apart.

 

Good deal Rainmanz. I'd think from all the rum...uh, I mean info floating around here it sounds like that might actually happen. I stopped by my dealer on the way home tonight to inquire about my preorder. Not much more info...no VIN yet...but they did tell me they expected it around mid September, and that they would call me promptly when new info arrived.
