Who wants to conserve gas? Ever since the break in point, I redline every single gear. I cannot remeber the last time I kept my RPMS under 7k.

I redline first gear all the way down the highway without shifting until I get home

Everyone on this forums redlines their z every chance they get, you are not the only one. Every once in a while its also good to not even shift at all. The hell with gas prices, their so cheap anyways. The RSX on the other hand, now that I never redline.

I really only do that in second now, 1st seems to strain the car too much, and third is usually going to fast. Maybe I've just become a *****.

I proclaim the following prophecy:

BJX will be starting a thread soon with one of these two titles; "So my engine blew up today", or "Nissan trannies are so lightweight! Mine just died."

P.S.: I don't redline my Redline.

Those who redline their car even 50% of their shifts are morons.

There are no words to describe BJX. (If he is actually serious)

Why the **** would you do that? I mean granted if I am at the track or maybe on an open on ramp I'll red line 2nd, but usually I just shift at 3-4k. Otherwise thats ****ing retarded, did you own a ****ty CRX or something that you had to redline to get up to speed before?

I actually havent redlined my car yet. no point .
The car feels like it stops making power past 6k IMO.
I give it a short burst to 6k maybe and thats it.
