Cool Z 9th most expensive to insure

Hey everyone.

Just read an interesting article I thought I'd share
http://articles.moneycentral.msn.com...sToInsure.aspx
bout the top ten most expensive cars to insure (based on 02-04 data).

MSN ranked the most expensive:

1. Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution
2. Mercedes CL-Class
3. Dodge SRT-4
4. Subaru Impreza WRX
5. Jaguar XK (convertible)
6. Lexus IS 300
7. Honda S2000
8. Acura RSX
9. Nissan 350Z
10. Jaguar XJ

Our Z got #9!

I personally have good insurance which is not much $ at all. Still, I doubt this statistic takes into account exotic cars or motorcycles. i.e. My husband's CBRR is much more expensive to insure than my Z.

The 10 least expensive cars to insure were all mid-priced SUVs or Mom-mobiles.

hmm, I've had a SRT4, and yeah it was pricey, went up every month too...

But the 350z is only 20 bucks a month more than my Miata was.

FOr the Z here's my info - 23yrs old, clean record, married, TX - 78 bucks a month.
EDIT - Progressive.
