Default 350Z, Nismo Z, 370Z, GT-R great future ahead

Finally a close dealership received 1 black 2007 Nismo Z and when I saw it I fell in love. However, the 370Z is coming out in 2 years and I know it will probably be a killer like every other new one. At first people never liked the hoods on the 07's but in person they loved it. Same with the Nismo Z's rear bumper and body kit. In person I think it is terrific. It is tough trying to decide if its worth modding my current 03, getting the Nismo which is just sick, or waiting for the 370Z. The GT-R will much pricier but still that is another option. Who else feels stuck on the situation but still looks forward to Nissan great future in the next upcoming years. I mean these cars just keep getting better, and our wallets emptier.

The 370 is gonna be off the charts. 330HP. 300+ to the wheels with 300lbs TQ. I just saw it in Car and Driver. Thats the car Im eyeing for 09'. I just adore Z's. "Sigh"

personally id do the nismo Z, looking at the 370 Z it doesnt look like there is going to be that much of a styling change.

the GTR is going to be around 90k. (i heard from the owner at my local nissan dealership and the "Z club" president)

Actually now the Z supposely will not get the new engine till its new bodystyle in 2010-2011.

-----

The 2009 Nissan 350Z was supposed to get a huge performance upgrade for the 2009 model year. But while the Japanese company is busy planning a hybrid lineup, small sports coupe and the launch of the Nissan GT-R, Nissan has pushed back the next-generation Z.

However on the cards for the next-generation Z is a brand new facelift. But that’s not what we’re interested in. Performance will be upgraded by 30 horsepower as the Infiniti G37’s 3.7 liter V6, 330 horsepower engine will find its way under the hood of the next-generation Z. The car will be called the Nissan 370Z.

Until then you can opt for the Nissan Nismo Type 380RS. The Nissan 370Z will be on the market in late 2010.

Aren't the torque numbers somewhere around 270 at the crank?
