Default cracked windshield

Couldn't believe it. This morning as I am getting out of the Z to go to work my briefcase strap unclipped as I was pulling on it and cracked my windshield. $265 to replace!

Default Winshield

Don't most insurance company's cover winshields at no cost, try calling your agent first. you use the money for some mods...

Had mine replaced for ~$200 even at Safelite. Do a search on this site for Safelite to see other's reaction on their work on Z's.

Yeah be careful. I was hit (previous car) with by a rock from a construction vehicle with no mudflaps and insurance would certainly not cover it.

In a business law class I took, our teacher told us about how the "not responsible for rocks coming off truck" or similar signs are 100% BS and they are responsible, next time get some info off the truck if you can and take it up with them

Use the PPG replacement glass, cheaper than OEM.

The insurance company should replace it as long as you have comp. coverage on your policy. Look for a company like guardian auto, or something like that.. or a company that uses "LINKS" They will get in touch with your iunsurance company and work it out for you.. all you have to do is schedule an appointment with the glass company.

If you have full coverage, glass should have its own separate space from it. Your insurance company should replace the glass either without you paying your deductible or paying a small amount.

Glass-Man - Store located in Long Beach but they have a mobile service. Came the same day to my work and finished in a little over an hour. Did a great job. They are coming back today to do one of my coworker's wind shields.
