Macho BS.

And the 3 serie's manual feel isn't all that great, imo. The shifting action is rather stiff. I personally love the NSX and S2000 manuals. Pure bliss.
hmmm idk... for some reason the stiffer clutches seem to engage better... and you get a better response... i have an 03 perf and when i drove the 06 mt.... i was disgusted... i test drove an rsx type-s a few years back and it felt exactly the same.... like you were pressing down in quicksand.... didnt feel like a sports car should... almost felt like a soccermom clutch...

It was my comparisson of two stock sports cars.. The Z is a $52,000 SPORTS CAR (Canada). My first upgrade should not be a clutch..

I notice a slight difference from my 03's clutch(stiffer) to my now 05(soft). But my 03 made alot of noises that I do not notice in the 05.

Now the thing I like about the Z clutch is that you can adjust the engagement point. There is a huge right up on how to adjust it. Just search the forum. I have adjust mines to a lil more then half way, but I must admit it is still soft as hell

Yea but even if you adjust it as far as possible (without ruining Cruise Control etc).. Its still nowhere near what a sports car clutch should be.

07 Z clutches are like water to me.

nismo Z is no contest either, i thought that Nissan would at least stiffen the clutch more then the 03-05 Zs but no go, test drive one down at Universal Nissan.

With that being said we must not forget what the Z is. Its designed to be a daily driven sports car. With the clutch being as soft as it it ppl will be more prone to drive it everyday. This car is built to appeal to the masses.
