Just curious - While waiting for you car to arrive (if order placed) what time frame did the car show up in the Inventory on Nissan's website. I have been looking everyday checking to see if my car is in inventory. The dealer told me that the car would be in about 3 - 4 weeks on April 29th. Which would put me on schedule for the end of the month.

Not sure how it works now but your car should show up on dealer inventory when it has been loaded on the truck and on the way to your dealer. It will not show up while it's at the dock. By the way, mine never showed up on dealer inventory.. It showed up without any warning at my dealer on a friday morning. It was the only car delivered that day.. So.. ya never know..

Thanks for the info. I am not expecting the car until around June 15th or so, but the dealer told me 3-4 weeks at the end of April. Doesn't it normally take about a month on the boat and a few weeks to get to the dealer from there (Wisconsin). How long does it take to build the car? Anyone????

 

If you're expecting it around June 15, I wouldnt start looking at the dealer inventory until around June 7 (maybe a few days sooner). I had been checking the dealer's inventory for about a week until I finally saw my car in it on a Monday. A couple of hours after that, the sales manager called me to inform me that it was off the train in Chicago and on a truck coming to me in Cincy. That was a Monday. The car arrived that Friday afternoon, and I picked it up Saturday morning.

 

I too did the website thing..almost everyday. Kept getting the "anyday now" response from my dealer. Then on Fri. 4/25 there it was..VIN and all..so I call the dealer Sat. morn. and tell him it's on the Nissan site, he goes out and checks, no car. But it arrived Sat. or Sun night while they were closed..picked it up on 4/29. So what's that, 3-4 days?

 

My car showed up on the dealers web about 2 weeks before I got the car.Mine was a pre-order.
