you cant be serious, 350z is waaaaaaaaaaay more of an elite car than the srt4..shiet you cant even tell its an srt4 unless your into cars like that. I see neons alllll the time around here, there are some the cheapest, car rental, generic looking things I have ever seen. I just look for the "srt" badge, the dual exhaust tips, or the front bumper to set them apart from regular peons. They are quick though am NOT gonna sit here and deny that...but eggh The Z has way more potential, looks, heritage, and class.

Hahahaha, so your saying that heritage, class and looks make the 350z an elite car. Hmmm mustangs have more heritage than any car ever made and it is by far one of the crappiest cars on the market today. Potential for the Z is non existence. I talk to some guy who had a singled turboed his Z. 360 hp I am assuming its to the wheels could of been crank though. Lots of money put into it, lots of problems with it as well. Not to mention its only an high to mid 12 second car.......

3 grand into the Srt4 for the Stage 3 kit and boom 11 sec car right there. 380 hp to the wheels... (direct bolt on) There are guys who had put stage 3 into there car from the get go and have 50-60k miles and the car runs incredibly strong. It even still gets good gas mileage.

The neon may still be a neon and it may not look the best but I still wouldn't put it second to the Z.

Why are you here?
What is the reason for your existance?
How old are you?
When you grow up, make some real money,
and can afford to buy a real car, come back
and give your opinion then.
You make foolish remarks to justify why you drive
a neon, when it's clear you want a Z, but can't
afford to even test drive one.

I usually just flash the brights. I saw a blue Z33 the other night, flashed the brights and got a flash back. A few seconds later, I saw a red Z31 and did the same, and got the same back. It's just showing how cool we Z owners are.

As far as I know the stage 3 kit was more like $4200 msrp, according a friend who DID have one really nice srt4...But I never knew ANYONE that made 11's right of the bat with JUST the kit. I saw mid to high 12's all day at the track with this. (just my experience)

Ya your right, off the bat there not going to run 11's. But most of the guys who get stage 3 have basic bolt ons i.e. bfmic, turbo back exhaust, and slicks so maybe a little more than 3k lol but either way still fast.

Cause I have a Z and this is a Z forum.

Thats a good question I very curious about that myself

I have to buy a "real car" and make "real money" in order to give my opinion....Ok I not going to respond to that for the sake of not embarrassing you.

The remarks I made are just facts. Its really your opinion if they are "foolish" or not.

And as far as I am concerned test drives are free, but judging by what you wrote I sure you pay good money for those test drives.

Do you feel slightly stupid now?

The srt is a fast car but this topic can be debated over and over first off i respect every car im not biased well maybe alittle. But if the Z came with a stock turbo like it should of from day one like the 300zx.Sure i know nissan would of raised the price on the Z but hey it would be good because it wouldn't be as easy for just anyone to buy.And it wouldnt be as hard to make big gains in the hp department.

I saw an old guy driving an old Datsun a few days ago and gave him a big thumbs up. He loved it and returned the gesture with a big smile. I really felt he was very happy the younger generation respected his era of cars.

That's cuz they're old and are afraid... gotta keep both hands on the wheel!

okay, just for the record, the Z is a true 2 seater SPORTS car no matter how fast or slow. If you want to build a cheap FAST car, then you can obviously do that with a Honda, Neon, tC, RSX, VW or whatever else..... This is not a good comparison (Z vs. srt4 for FAST) s2000, z4, Cayman S, these cars are comparable to the Z..... FYI
