SB is the color for me. My driveway is gravel and yes it gets dirty when I leave home but you know what? The SB Z is the baddest car on the road dirty or not. And when you wash it after a few days or a week of having it dirty it looks better than you remember and its worth it everytime. I love my car!

I just totaled my Z a few weeks ago and obviously had to get a replacement. I HAD to have a Roadster Daytona Blue/Frost Interior with MT. Those are hard to come buy. I was able to get an 2005 with 2 years left on the warranty. Consider myself extremely fortunate.
I would not have gotten another Z if they didnt' have that exact combo.
So yes, color is everything to me. Not gonna drop that kind of money on a car and not get what I want.

Color is pretty important to me if i'm buying a new car. If it's used, I could usually care less. Daytona Blue was my favorite when the Z came out but once I was actually in a position to buy one, I decided it was a bit too flashy. The Z is already a "look at me" car, I didn't need a stand out color on top of that. I got Silverstone because I think it's the most understated color. Understated color + great styling = teh sex. Like a girl who's so hot she looks better without a bunch of makeup or fake ****.
Still I would definately own a red Z. They're so rare, and the ones I see on this site make me drool.
IMHO Black Z's look best when modded. (and better than any other color when done right)

I wanted Daytona Blue ZR for two months and had to go 3.5 hours to Atlanta to get it. I got to the lot and saw my first Lemans Sunset roadster and fell in love at first glance. I took it home. IMO Leman Sunset is bar none the best color for the ZR followed by the PPW. Now the coupe in my opinion looks best in DB so I went back for round two. Color is what makes you turn around when walking away and look at your own car with admiration.

well, looks like i am going to be the first to say i hate my collor
My 03 is black with red pearl flake . Car looks amazing as long as its cloudy outside, but once sun comes out and hits it just right .... please shoot me now
and i know i know its something i should have noticed when buying the car. but unfortunately pictures of the z didn't show the flakes and i just didn't think it could have been that bad . so i drove 400 miles ready to buy the car. it just so happened that it was a cloudy day and i didn't see the paint in its full glory.
Guess I still cant complain given that i got paid 14.5 for an 03 Touring with 50k on the clock

Its very important to me. Most of the Z's here are Silver, so I didn't want a silver one. My last car was a black Miata, black's a PITA, so I decided against black. I wanted Blue, but I couldn't find one, so Red worked. Not to mention the red one was still brand new (well its a 2003, but only has 3k on the clock) and 5k cheaper than the others (all but one was silver). The last one was white, and I couldn't get into that.

That's one of the reasons I like red. IT blends in with the body and of course at night it definitely stands out.

I went with my 2nd choice in color. Wanted Chrome Silver, but when a Silverstone showed up at the dealers exactly optioned like I wanted I couldnt' wait any longer.
Four years later, I'm glad I went with the Silverstone. I actually like it better now.

what really sucks is that my favorite color just keeps on changing.
So I dont want blue now.. why? cause they're the most popular in my area and it wont go with red leather seats.
PPW is nice.. clean as hell but kind of plain.. for a sports car I think it should stick out more... matches red leathers and gold rims.
Black.. I've owned a 240sx for 10yrs now and It was black.. only reason why not black.. otherwise it matches the red leather and gold rims I have planned.
Redline.. damn I'm loving it more and more.. In my area I havent seen 1 .. ever.. will match red leather seats and gold rims.. or black rims ..
I'm thinking Red now..
why is the exterior color sooo hard for me to choose...
Maybe if the Z didnt come in soo many nice colors this wouldnt be so damn hard.
