Default How important is your color to you?

Were you guys specific on the color of your Z when purchasing? would you now change your car for another color? I'm having a hard time deciding what color to go with.

I love the DB and the PPW just looks sooo damn clean, but how do I chose? Best deal I guess.

Color choice was pretty damn important for me. I reeeaaally wanted Daytona Blue... it was one of the deciding factors for me to go with an Enthusiast model over the Nismo model.

Now that I have the car, I love the color even more. Thank GOD I went with it

Colour was very important to me. If I for some reason had to get a new 350Z, I would wait until 2008 to see if Lemans Sunset came back.

I passed up on a really good deal because not the paint color but the interior color. That frost leather just scared me thinking about trying to keep it clean and looking nice.

Color is important to me. There are a couple of colors I really like on the Z and if I had found one of them setup like I wanted I would have bought one of those instead of ordering but if you end up ordering you get exactly your favorite color.

I wanted the Carbon Silver, but the only one available had the Frost interior.
Almost impossible not to mark it up. I got the Silver Alloy and I couldn't be more pleased with it. I like the Daytona Blue, but it stands out too much.

So I see a lot of you based your Z on the color. I love 2 looks on a Z, the DB with chrome rims and PPW with gold rims.. I've seen numerous pics of both and every time I see one I want it, but the next thread has the other color which then makes me think twice.

Clean is first and foremost! gotta have a nice clean flowing car, I agree with the DB as a more stand out color, which is also a + I mean its a Z I should want to show it off.

AHHhhh its gonna drive me crazy!!

Totally loyal to my color choice. No way would I settle for 2nd place when it comes to something I have to live with on a day to day basis. DB is my color too, its just so sexy with just tinted windows and nothing more. White is my second choice of color too, but I just finished owning a white car, and you don't get as much satisfaction cleaning and waxing it as you do a darker color.

The color is important to me, but the more important thing was the price. If the price for the color I wanted was only a couple of hundreds more, then I would chose color, but if it was thousand(s) more, then I would have pick something that I could live with.

I didn't want a red car due to it being cop-magnet, but haven't regreted after owning it. Black was the preferred color choice because of the mirror finish after waxing. Blue was my next color, but none in town. Then red, LS, both silver, or white in no particular order. It's still a 350z after all.

I wanted the PPW the 1st time I saw it. Everyone had seen it in pictures, but when it arrived at the dealership, I had all the people who worked there saw how breath taking it was in person. In my area I think I can count on one hand how many PPW there are. I love it - no regrets! Shine her up and u will have just as many head turns as anyother color choice.

+1 for PPW

I really liked the San Marino Blue. Had to have them dealer trade so I had to pay full price for a Base when they offered me a ppw enthusiast for around the same price. Would have liked to have some of the additional features but I'm the only San Marino Blue i've seen in Louisville.

I waited 98 days to get my SMB, i could have had silver/white/black/carbon for the same price and got it the day i went to the dealer! BUT i have only seen one other smb in my area and the thumb's up are worth the wait. I wanted blue and i waited till i got the color i wanted, end of story!

Cheers

Kevin

I love having the UY, I've only seen one other one ever on the road and I live in freaking Phoenix. Really stands out, I think the only other colors I would go for are SB or PPW.

The only thing I dislike about my car is the color. Super Black was my wife's idea and that means that I have to clean the car every day and wash it way more often than I like. That said when it's clean it's better looking than any other color out there. The "clean" only lasts a few blocks from my house as I drive though sprinkler run off and pick up the dust and pollen from the street. After it sits in the lot for the work day it's covered in a fine layer of dust and spotted with bird pee.
