Yes and No....
To some one who is not a true car enthusiast and believes that American muscle is the end all and be all, anything that comes from japan or Asia is considered rice.
To a true car enthusiast, the answer would be no. As to them Rice, is the essence of distasteful and some times poorly applies modifications to ones car. Examples of this are large wings on FWD cars, ugly body kits and poor paint schemes, cutting your stock springs to lower your car, a fake roof scoop.
For me I would say no, as I don't plan on ever having a large wing on my car unless i purchase a top fuel dragster.

Pepboys does not make fart cans for it. Pep Boys however does sell universal far cans that mostly go on Cavaliers and Sunfires from my personal experience.
350Z is not rice in stock form. It can very easily be rice like any other car. Depends on your deffinition of rice. If your deffinition of rice is an Oriental manufactured car, then yes it is.
If your deffinition of rice is a car with a big wing, gaudy graphics, body kit, lights ect that goes racing around all over the place , then no it is not in stock form.

Come on now ANYCAR can be made rice. Hell you can even take a 6 cyl mustang and put a fart can on it, some 16"s and a off color stripe, you know what that is? DOMESTIC RICE. Or if you think higher end cars cant be rice, have you seen some Vettes lately? Uber Rice. Granted the Z is made in Japan, its still far from rice, but from what i've seen, you can rice that b|tch out in 3.5 seconds.

Kind of a jacked up term all together in my opinion. Pretty much comes from crackers hooked on Fords. I see Japanese guys take engines with half the displacement and get twice the horse power and three times the handling of them there Fords out yonder. Player hatin' is all it is.

I've seen some poorly modded Stangs, Camaro, TA's with import tuner rims that lood god-awful. Not only that but with canvas-like art work on their car. Probably Michaelangelo has gone too far. Seen some with ricy body kits on those kind of cars and dragster type wings. Probably those would be called Uncle Bens.
To some folks anything not made in USA or Europe is "rice". Goes back to japanese bikes being referred as "rice grinders" by Harley and European bike owners in the 60s.
Such people need to get into the 21st century and should be either ignored or pitied.
I was guilty myself in the 60s/70s when I was riding Triumphs and BMWs. Then I bought a 1981 Honda 900F that blew the skirts off all American/European bikes this side of a Vincent Black Shadow, never leaked a drop of oil, had bullet proof reliability, & was a pleasure to ride long distances. I quickly decided I'd take all the "rice" I could get!
