People hate the 350Z
I was at a friends the other night, and someone spit chewing tobacco on my drivers window...I called the friend asking if they knew of any of their neighbors that "dipped" b/c my plan was to loosen a few key nuts on their suspension. (I used to be a suspension/brake mechanic, so probably not the best person to **** off.) Not to mention the anger management issues.
Sadly the friend doesn't know any of her neighbors....I was ready to draw blood. But spray away took care of the issue, so I'm over it now.
Starting to think my dad has the right idea w/ his "glock" and "ruger" firearms stickers on the back of his Honda Element...Just can't see myself defiling the Z like that.

this may be a style issue, but a good 'ol "colt .45 on board" decal in the rear window may alter some people's thoughts of messing with your car. do it whether, you have one or not. i know when i'm 21, i'm getting a pistol licence, and that message won't be a lie.
Every time I go to the grocery store in the Z I get extremely dirty looks! I guess it could be because I park in the spot designated for "new and expectant mother!" I even get dirty looks from the cart pushers, until I open the door and reveal my giant pregnant stomach! What's with the stereo-type that mommy's have to drive a van or a SUV? I have a fear that one of these days I'm going to come out of the store to someone ramming their cart into my Z, and then I would have to pepper spray them and beat them down. I don't think I need a gun, I'm sure I would end up in prison soon after I got it, you mess with my Z and I surely will try to kill you!

i was eatting pho with my buddy last night after one of our meets, and ofcourse we parked right in front of the restaurant and sat at the window spot to watch the cars, there must have been 10 ppl at least through out the night walking by, putting their hands on the window and looking inside, putting their finger prints on my hood, it was so annoying.

Maybe its me, but when you do stuff like parking in back and away from people, that just asking for bad things to happend. Like one time one of my friend parked his brand new RSX outside of the individual parking lines so no one can park near him and when we came back his car was keyed across the the door panels. I'm sorry but you can't avoid these type of things, unless you drive a beater or something.
I agree about the whole parking in the back of the lot / taking 2 spaces practice: its bound to draw unwanted attention. So its better to blend in and try to take some of the attention away. My advice: park in the last slot in the row or next to an island where you have only one spot next to you: that way, if you are going to get dinged, at least its only one side
I hate planning for the inevitability, but what can you do huh?

Why cant people just admire cars i remember when i didnt even have a Z at the time. And if i seen a Z drive by me i would just have this huge smile i respect any car even if there 10 times better than mine or more expensive.Just shows how cowardly people are these days cars cant fight back why dont you come and try to hurt me instead of the car see how far you can get.
I don't think this is a Z problem but just nice sport cars in general. Can you imagine how the Ferrari and Lambo guys feel when they take it out to dinner or just for a ride?
