Talking Thank You!

This is the first time I have ever frequented a chat room before...been hanging around here since I pre-ordered in March. This week has flown by due to all the new VIN's, deliveries, etc. I hope the next month flies by as well. I can't imagine how in the dark I would feel right now if it weren't for all the info here...

Probably won't get many replies to this because there are so many (important) threads popping up by the minute- just wanted to say thanks & keep the info coming everybody!

Cheerz,
Brad

I hear you. This forum is great, it has gotten a lot bigger reciently, I hope it doesn't collapse under its own weight. So far so good.

I like the fact that there are a lot of different people, some giving the latest info, others trying to lighten the mood. I personally try to think up a good post or two every now and then. Some are good others are not, but I always appreciate any response I get. At least here everyone is civil.

Alright, finally a *positive* post on the board today. no flames, no accusations of fraud...of course there's only one reply so far.

Enjoy the weekend..and think of how much better the weekends will be when you're in your Z.

Damn, Pat...too fast.

Just saw the book, Lust, then Love , and I have to say, be glad they went with the design they did. One of the concepts looked like the Evoq, which, IMO, is seriously fugly.

A note from the Nissan Dealer Conference: Nissan didn't say much about production delays, but did say that they expect some Zs to be delivered in August. Nothing more concrete than that was offered. For those of you wondering about the exhaust note and engine sound...the room of 2000 knew what it was when the Z was started -- backstage.

CoachZ, any other items from the conference worth passing on to us?

Re: the book - Anybody get more info from the publisher on availability? If not I'll send letter of inquiry this weekend.

Well, they had enough copies of the book to hand them out at the dealer meeting -- I have no other info on its availability to the public now.

The only other notes I can think of from the conference: most of us should expect a phone call from Nissan Brass after taking delivery of our pre-ordered Zs. Nissan wants to ensure that the customer experience was exceptional, so they're getting their corp. Veeps involved. And expect the commercials to begin running end of September for the Z.

Oh, and I hear the Comicon attendees gathered around the Z in droves when it was parked, surrounded by velvet ropes, in the hotel valet area. Comments from the crowd were extremely positive - people were guessing the price (since it was not marked) in the $40-50k range. Hooray, value! Of course, they were probably dressed as Klingons, so who knows how skewed their judgement is

Rai, let's get Pat into my chair. With your magic to bring him to the threshold of death (and maybe bring him back - your call) and my extraction forceps we can give him a completely new profile.

Default Operators are standing by...

I wonder if they are currently testing subordinates for 'phone voice' similarities?

You very funny guy!
I would be surprised if you receive a call from anyone on the eighth floor.
Now, a call from Carlos would be quite entertaining!
( he has a great sense of humour )
