Hi I drive a 2007 Black 350z and just recently about an hour ago I was coming out of the gym and I see 3 asian kids crowding around my car...I hear a big thump and I yell Hey while walking toward them and they leave in a blue sedan...When I got there I found that my Passenger Tail lights were broken and my drivers side mirror was also broken with a bat or something. I was wondering if insurance or something covers that..and if there are any smoked tail lights for the 2007 Z model so I can replace those for a cheaper price then what Nissan Dealerships would charge me.

yeah i plan on calling them tomorrow...but one of the guys i talked to at the gym works for nissan as a mechanic and says they charge about 700 for the tail light and about 600 for the mirror = / so im thinking of getting after market tail lights...

 

How much is ur deducible? IF its 500 just pay for it yourself....you can get the tail light for 250...and go to your local junk yard for the mirror piece....thats what i did saves you a bunch of money

There are some vendors on here that can sell
you some tails, and mirrors.

happen to me on new years on my maxima. except i didn't see who did it.

i bought my taillight off of ebay, brand name tyco. it was a perfect match. i heard that depo sometimes doesn't match oem color lenses when lit or the light patter is a little off.

i would highly recommend tyco aftermarket oe if that option is available to you, however i don't think they have 07 350z tail lights made already. and if im not mistaken they're LED taillights at that.

just a little something i thought i'd share.

 

I chased after 8 once. Pummeled 2 as the others started to drive away, then smashed their window with a brick. I took the ID from the 2 guys and kindly suggested that they pay me for damages.

But you not going after the 3 asians kids was probably smart.

 

well the 3 on 1 wasnt a problem lol its just the fact that they drove away as i started getting towards them..and someone outside saw what happended and already reported it to the police..and they didnt do anything = / Couldnt get the plate # since it was pretty dark and they drove away from the parking lot pretty fast i guess they had a driver ready. I don't know what is wrong with people these days though...wrecking cars because they have nothing better to do = / The lady that reported to the police says its probably because My car was in the back but was also the only nice one there <.<

 

Are you a younger? Are you well known where you live?

Due to no fault of your own.....it seems that younger kids get their cars messed with a lot. No one looks twice at mine.

 

yeah im 17 lol pretty well known but I mean I dont have anything against anyone in my area or anyone have something against me that I know of..called up a bunch of my friends after i finished talking to the cops..since my area isnt that big and word here spreads fast I can probably easily find them i hope

 

Yeah.....it's jealousy man. That alone may make enemies. Even just being younger makes you a target for some reason. I dealt with that ish when I was younger too.......even though I drove a Buick

The fact that you're 17 and your drive a 350z is probably the cause of what made them vandalize your car. I mean think about it ... 17year old driving 350z while THREE people are in a blue sedan (probably ugly too).
