We used to make people pull backwards and forward again to trip the timer... it reduced our overall drive through times because a car tripping the timer again for .2 seconds helped bring down the average of another car that sat there for 30 seconds. When your drive time goals are 30 seconds and some idiot sits at the window counting his change for 2 minutes you do all kinds of strange stuff just to get the timers back down.
