Question Out of The Loop... What's The Current/Upcoming Z's #'s?

I just read an article about the new G Coupe having 330hp!!!
Surely the 350Z is slightly higher?
So what's the stats looking like?

Wow. I was gonna say. I bought my Z way back in Sep 02 as an 03 model and this month is 5yrs later! I would expect Nissan to give their benchmark Sports Car a serious shot of power, cosmetic change or both.

Well, the 07 has over 30 HP on the 03 and looks a lot better too. They kind of did do a pretty hefty upgrade.

Ya think?
I see 07s and only to the discerning eye can u tell the difference from 03 so let's be realistic. Now a 30hp bump, that's a lil more like it. However... I remember running a 07 last year right before I sold my car and from a dig, I handled him by a car or 2. I only had Borla, JWT intake and grounding.
I'm not knocking the Z so let me clarify that if one were to even think it.

lol you ran an 06'. The 07' didn't come out until early this year. If you raced an 07', trust me you would have lost, unless the driver was horrible.

Maybe his car wasnt running good. But you cant compare an 03 to an 07.

He is right. With the new engine, Nissan delayed the '07's release until January of this year.

best 07 stock time on the board was low 13's 13.2 or something at well over 100MPH. the difference between the 300hp 06 and the 303hp 07's is pretty big (probably around 15-20hp on a dyno)

The moral of the story is that all of us 06 owners feel like a bunch of dumbasses, particularly since i bought mine in like october or something.

Does not look like a change over year. New color of Nogaro Red will be the optional extra charge.

30HP? 306-287=19 + weight increase.

Either way, who cares about the G37 having 330HP? You need to look closer at those numbers and factor in the weight of car, as it slows it down considerably. The new G37 is marginally slower than than the 03-06 Zs, and much slower than the VQ35HR Z.

Edit: I failed math. :P

I'm serious. I love the new headlights, the more aggresive bumper, the bulge, the taillights, the interior, plus all of the little things, i personally think it all adds up to a much better looking car. Plus the motor doesnt hurt
