How about stopping the struggle and just enjoy you car 'as is' for awhile. Then you will have a better feeling of what changes you may want to make and the difference, if any, the future mod causes.
First of all decide for speed mods, decide if your gonna stay N/A or if you want to do FI. If your going to do FI you better start saving. If not, for starters leave the OEM intake alone because its already sufficient enough, just upgrade the filter to the K&N. After that get some other breathing mods such as exhaust/test pipes or high flow cats/headers (if you really want to spend a lot of money for hardly any gains)/etc.
Suspension: decide if your gonna want to adjust your ride height, shock dampening, etc. or if you just want to have everything set and left alone. you can either go with coilovers where you can adjust ride height and dampening, or you can go with springs and shocks where everything is already set for the most part, some shocks still let you adjust dampening though
Rims: I shouldn't have to tell you
Audio: I shouldn't have to tell you either.

the first thing you should do is take it to a car show. here is a link to one..

...2006, my first thing to do is take to the dealer for an oil consumption test due to the known "oil burning issue" of the 06's. Then you know, the whole basic lowering springs/intake/exhaust would be nice. Later on you can bump it up to the spacer/test pipes/headers deal. =)

for your 06 ur intake is preety much the best you can get from nissan. I suggest a varis duct and a motordyne spacer and mrev2. Test pipes resonated and exhuast . Get some nice headers and then a tune and you should be in the high 280s to 290s.

Depends what you want:
Overall performance- Helmet and membership to a local (real) racing club for track time. You'll figure everything else out from there. Any mods you do will start putting you into different classes which makes a difference if you are the competitive type.
More speed- Mrev2 + spacer, followed by exhaust. Then you have to decide if you are going FI before you do anything else.
Better handling- Better tires. Sport Compact Car had good results leaving stock shocks/springs and upgrading the sway bars and wheels/tires.
Better looking- Tint, wheels, clear corners/custom or removed badges, lip or spoiler.
Those seem to be the first mods people do depending on their interests.

thanks so much for the advice espicially with the hot senior chick DONE AND DONE. Ordered a JW popcharger should be here tomorrow. Have only one real complaint so far. Started up the car with the spare key in it ran back inside.
Came back to find the doors majically locked.
Called a locksmith to find out he couldn't unlock it. Then proceeded to tear apart my golf bag for the steel rod to try and unlock it myself that didn't work. Proceeded to get pissed and couldn't get in so I grabbed a hammer to try and knock out the passenger side window. Just scratched it and put a chip in it.( So it is being replaced)
Finally went back to the rod and got a window down and got to work a hour and a half late.
Has anyone had problems like this?
