Interesting Idea, but I'm kinda wanting to mount outside of the car for a few shots as well.

I've got to figure out how to do some serious wind reduction tho, I hate that.

I trying to remember one of the guys that into Photography name. He has posted some more professional stuff in the past. I think a package that includes side window mount, plate mount, side body suction mounts etc...
I think it goes for around $200 or so. But, if you into it professionally and need some high speed outside shots then that package looked like the key to me.
