Yeah I was wondering if that was just my parking break??? Guess not.

As for the horn, it is a sports car, not a semi-truck.

 

It can be as cute as it wants because when i come home late at night and lock the doors, the last thing i want is some mack truck air horn to wake up the whole 'hood.

When I'm in traffic and some a-hole does something stupid, the Z horn is plenty able to get it's point across...no middle-finger needed most of the time

 

If you have a truck (or a car) bearing down and you cuz he can't see you it might be nice to have a horn someone can hear. I have been in that position.
BTW: the Ferrari's I have seen have had loud *** horns.

Who cares about horns. Just use your exhaust instead haha. No but seriously listen to a ferrari's horn and it sounds sissy too who cares.

 

Yeah, youre right. You gotta yank on the ebrake pretty hard to keep you from going backwards on a hill.

 

I personally think the Z's horn is nice.

My Celica's was the most ***** horn I've even heard... Sounded like the road runner...

Thought I was the only one w/ Nismo Horns in Colorado.

 

Never tried pressing my horn but when I arm the car or lock it, it makes a quick soft beep. Nothing close to a loud horn but it doesn't bother me =]

The horn has no power, i honked at a guy in a ford truck a few times, and i could see him on his cell phone, im pretty sure he didn't hear me... But in another situation for example when people are looking down and dont see the light turn green the horn is well mannered to get them going, but not enough to scare someone, and horns are suppost to be able to pull that effect off..

 

Yeah, I got ran off the road twice and into oncoming traffic once before I could hit 5,000 miles in my Z. And I'm the type of person that just lays on the horn when somebody starts doing something stupid but it didn't help. After I had enough, I bought the PIAA triple kit- works like a charm.

My wife's AP2 S2K though, that little horn will scare the hell out of somebody!

 

I only use my horn when im picking someone up for work, and it does just fine. Now the horn in my rx8 that is a little wussy horn.

 

I just use my test pipes and stock exhaust, it gets the point across better when someone does something stupid right in front of me. Sometimes when car clearly cuts really close in front of me, I'll use the exhaust and honk, and keep it honking for 10 seconds straight. Wait til I get a exhaust on top of the test pipes.

 

Its a hell of a lot stronger than the horn I had on my Civic.
