I have ordered mine on Jan 23 at a dealership in Columbus, OH (we have four, and they ALL stink). First, they lied to me (as it turns out), which order number I was - said 3, but it turned out I was 7 out of 8 allocations. Then, they said that all their allocations were going to be delivered in September. I called them last week to check whether they have an inventory sheet with my name on it (which, by the way, they screwed up) - and the sales guy said that I have September production and November delivery!! I have never heard about pre-orders being deliverd in November (or produced in September for that matter!). Is this even possible?

I called Nissan NA - but the couple of (what sounds like) high school girls that 'handle' the 350z issues were not available. And the inventory manager at the dealership never bothered to return my calls. I guess they figured that they already made my sale.

 

I know how you feel, there is no system in place to ensure the dealer is telling the truth about your order number. It's like the honor system, but we all know salesman never lie right.

 

Yep, some of us are September for November and I wouldn't be too surprised if there are even some later than that.

I'm from Colombus too. The guy at Buckeye Nissan said they were getting some in between mid-august and september for the first people who ordered.
