Can a BIG dog fit in a 350z?
I am curious to hear how you guys manage.
I have an 8month old great dane female that is currently 90lb. Her mother is 165lb so she's gonna be a big girl.

I prefer the Z myself but had to go with the G because my black lab. I line the back seat with cardboard slip sheets and thick vinyl hung to the rear and side windows with suction hooks. It works pretty well but it's still a very nervous ride for me and a very verbally abusive ride for him. I have heard of someone on the forum having their dog sit on the passenger floorboard and resting the front half of the dog on the seat, but I would keep the windows up so as not to get them too excited.

When I went to the beach with my girlfriend and my dog which is a pitbull, I put the towel down on the seat, floor and sides to avoid him shedding everywhere and he just sat on the floor between my girlfriends legs with the window open. Not very safe, which is why my girlfriend just bought a 1988 Ford Taurus hunk of crap for our outtings with the dog.

One of the reasons I got the Z vs the G35 is because my yellow lab won't fit in it (99 lbs.). He went everywhere with me in the Pathfinder since he was a pup and it had to stop. He loved riding and always looked out the window, seldom not paying attention. But, I am done with dog hair and dog smell in my daily driver.
I got the worse looks from him when I'd leave in the Z, but I was never tempted as there is no room.
Sure, in an emergency he can get in the passenger's seat, but it's a risk with the leather and dog hair gets everywhere. No problem now as he knows he doesn't go in it.

No.
I have taken my German Shepard a few places.
1. She cannot sit in the passenger seat comfortably. She is so big that she must place her paws on the floor, which puts her snout right up against the front window.
2. Her hair goes everywhere.
3. Dogs like to stick their heads out the window. Their slobber gets on the glass. Also, when they do this their *** is in your face.

Took one home on a test drive to make sure that the 50-pound Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever fits in the space behind the front seats but in front of the chrome bar across the middle. She can climb back there and it will do fine.
