I have been tring to find out what the top speed would be on an 07 Z. I ran it through yahoo and google but no luck. By any chance does anyone on the forum know what the answer is?

Damm thats fast was auto or stick? Did it take a long time to reach that speed or did it get there rather quickly?

it didn't take to long, from 150+ took some time tho. maybe 6-7 sec to get to 162 from 150 but maybe 15 sec to hit 150, dunno we weren't timing it

Hitting the rev limiter at that speed would only indicate you being in the wrong gear... Then again, being in the wrong gear would not carry you to that speed. So no, the rev limiter could not have kicked in.

i believe it is somehwere around 177 for a stock z (after speed limitor is removed) but im sure higher hp z's can push past that. aerodynamics play a huge factor for high speeds, thats how option auto's z went 221(?) before it crashed

He was doing alot less than 221 when he crashed. More around 160-170. Sh*tty drivers and fast cars make a bad combo, as the video shows...

When I had my Twin Turbo 300ZX I had the stock ECU and at 160 I felt a fuel cut off. After the ecu was reprogramed by Z-1 it could go 160+.
I didnt feel that fuel cut off ingauge. I was wondering if the 350Z has that same cut off at top end

Yes it does, around the same speed as your old 300
