I currently drive a 05 Mustang so its not like im in a beater so If its well worth the wait then a year and a half wouldnt be that bad.

I want and like the 350z 07 but it appears the 09 version will be getting performance upgardes and when I buy my Z im keepin it for a good 10-15 years and I havent exactly decided whether I will be moding it or leaving it crispy clean.

Just curious as to how big of an upgrade some of you think it might be and if it will be so noticable that I should put of buyin my Z.

 

I think it'd be worth it to at least wait and see what the next model will be like.

 

Just wait maybe the next will be better maybe not? But the price of a nismo will go down by then.

Im just looking for some opinions on what I should do.

That being said from what I have read the 09 Z will have better performance which meens more speed ect ect.

Do you personally think the perfomance different will be that great? Or will it be like the 03 Zs vs the 07 Zs?

Cause idk if i should wait or get a 07 in a few months, possibly an 08.

 

How about 2011 when they fix all the bugs?

The first year 09 Z's will have some problems and then you'll want to wait another year for Nissan to tweak out the problems. Then when next year comes, Nissan announces an even newer version of the Z, and by 2011 you're not even interested in the Z anymore.

 

You should go test drive an 07.. and see how the hell you'll feel about waiting after that .. enough said, close thread.

Well, to what we heard 09 now isn't going to be the new updated Z, supposely 2011 is it. It was getting delayed by Nissan.

I would get the Z now, that is what I did.

 

If you plan on modding your car i dont see why you would wait a tt 03-06z will burn the new z no matter what and i don't think they can do to much better on the body style of the current z but i could be wrong. Im just going on with how they designed the new g37 compared to the g35.

 

From what I have read, the new 350z will be in 2011, probably due to the fact that they do not want to take any sales away from potential GT-R sales. So... if you can wait until then, more power to you. However, like somebody above said, you have to live in the now sometimes. Even if you were to wait until 2011 to get the new Z, there would always be 2012 in which they will tweak that model to add a tiny bit better performance and iron out the kinks in the previous year's model. There will always be the "next year's model" and you will always have something to hold out for.

I'd say to get the 07 now and then have it paid off by 2011/12. If then you like the new Z you can just sell your 07 and rinse/repeat

 

Get a 07 and if you want more power just start the modding.
