Why does everyone get sooo wrapped up in something not confirmed yet at all?

The point I will make.
Get an 07 now and get a Z you like, or wait till 09 or 011 or whenever and find out you might not like the styling of this supposed new Z everyone keeps posting renderings of.

If you like it, get it. If you like the new one in the future, get that one too.

If I were assured it would be out in 09 I would wait but if it didn't come out til 011 then I'd get the 07

Trying to get value out of a purchase by timing it and hoping there won't be major revisions in future is a losing game. The '09 is a fair way off and there's no guarantee that Nissan has not succumb to the age old trap of softening up a hugely affordable and appealing sports car for the sake of attracting more mainstream buyers. People think the '09 will take the Z concept further along the path travelled by the 03-08s, but there's always the risk that some people in Nissan are discussing all the ways the Z could make more sales if:

- the suspension were softer and more comfortable;
- the engine were not so loud;
- the seats were not so narrowly bolstered;
- etc...

And so the '09 may well not be a true Z. The best parts may be stripped away so that doctors' wives are more willing to buy, and so the rawness I and many others love may be relegated to history. Ofcourse, it may well blow us away by taking the current car's dynamics, adding a few hp and updating the styling. Who knows? All you know is that you like the '07, the '09 is a fair way off and that life is short. Buy the '07 ASAP and shop around 'til you find a dealer that can deliver your car within a week.

Id wait for them to fix the bugs from the new 2011's before I'd buy. So get the 2013's with the refreashed front bumper and the automatic parking.

Normally I'd say you only live once and you may not live tomorrow so go for it..... but this case is a little different bc the new G coupe has debuted with the 3.7L 330hp engine...which more than likely means it will be used in the Z as well. If we knew the 08 was gonna get the 330hp engine I'd say wait but if not then 09 is too far away for me to wait. I'd just get an 07 in that case...

Buy it now. The cost will only go up over the next couple of years. The Z is hotness and I'm going to drive mine for 10-15 years like my other Z's. Then in 2019 I'm getting the Turbo-Hybrid model that runs 11's on the electric. Lol !!

They only get better every year.... Z's - Enjoy the ride ...... NOW !!!

Dude its getting kinda old allready.You ask the same question all the time."What should I get?" Get whatever you feel like getting. You got hair on your ***** so make your own choice. It's looking like your just a dreamer kid. When you get your ride then start posting. But till then stop asking stupid questions. Oh and a peace of advice. Judging from your previous post you look like the kind of kid thats going to street race and speed all over the place. Well dont because you will rap your Z around a tree. A Z is to much car for a kid with no driving experience.Grow some ***** first. Then by a Z. Because I hate to see you on the 6:00am news.

There will always be something bigger and better coming out. Its just up to you if you want to drive something nice now, or wait till later. But if you wait till later, there will be something else on the horizon that will be even better.
