It's just a Tamiya electric- nothing too fast- just for fun. I'll bring it next weekend.

Make sure you get a clear bra! At least you don't have to worry about brake dust...

Default re mod

I wouldn't be to sure about the cost of mods for it.
I had an optima 4 wheel drive and was spending a small fortune on keeping good tires on it. I'm thinking they were around $20 a set and I would use a set every week. Compare that to the price of a set of tires for the real deal and there isn't that much of a difference.
I think I had about $500 into the car and radio. Then spent like 25hrs putting the thing together.
I'm finding the full scale less expensive than the 10th scale.

I found a kit for just over $60, less radio and battery, etc. Does the body come pre-painted? If not, what paint did you use? It looks GOOD. I'm really thinking I might mess around with one of these. I haven't built an RC car in years!

WashUJon- Had to paint it but it came with all the decals for the headlights, windows, taillights etc. Also came with precut masking for the windows. Painted on the inside, but was really simple. I can't remember the paint, special type for plastics. I'll look at the can when i get home and post it for you.

Thanks a lot!

I ordered the kit after looking at all the specs. It looks like a pretty good electric kit and its pretty damn inexpensive. I like gas RC, but this was too cool to pass up. I gotta find a good radio now.

Your car looks great! Its a perfect match for the big Z. lol

The paint is Pactra Racing Finish (spray can)-
You can probably pick up a basic controller for like $55-65 bucks. I picked up a basic Futaba wheel controller for like $62. Not the best by far but it works great.
Post some pics when you get yours.

Remember Mini Me?

It's your Mini Z!

What are the chances of you making one like that for my DB and selling it to me??
