The Prototype seats, what happened to them?

Default The Prototype seats, what happened to them?

Just saw some of the pic of the roadster posted here. and some of the interior shows the seats that were in the prototype Z (https://my350z.com/gallery/albuo65/abd) Looks like they add a black mesh and bottom (don't remember if they had the hump in the middle in the prototype or not)
But seeing Nissan pic that seat isn't on the roadster, looks like the same ones in our Z's. How come the prototype seats didn't make it into production? (granted might not move the head rest up, but not sure)

i think those seats are an option on the touring model. you can get them if you want. The standard touring roadster comes with leather seats like the coup, the mesh/leather is an upgrade. hope this helps.

An option on the roadster and not the coupe you mean?
