Has anyone on this board gone on this plant tour? I know that the Nissan Cube is made there, but I am hoping to see the Fairlady (350Z). Anyone got any pull to get a VIP tour? RxO? Anyone?

Darn, I jinxed myself. The Oppama factory tours are suspended while they retool for a new model/new changes, so no trip to see Z's being born for me. Gosh, I travel thousands of miles to go see the factory and I can't go. I guess I will have to bury my sorrows in Sushi and look out for cool cars. So far I have seen a ton of GTR's, some RX7's, a few 300zx Fairlady, a bunch of Ferraris and Porsches, but only one 350Z. There was a mountain area where we did an "Initial-D" trip with a minivan around 16 hairpin turns, and the mini-rest stop right before there was packed with performance cars. The full rest stops off of the highways are fantastic, with many motorcycle and car clubs stopping at these mega-stops.


(Come on Nissan Japan, someone read this and get me in the door of the factory or else I will start posting Toyota Megapolis pics. *grin* )
