Exclamation Good Nissan Service Department

Do they exist? There are so many negatives on the forums about dealerships/service departments but does anyone actually recommend one?

I've had my 350z (2nd one) for about 24 days and already encountered some problems. My warranty as of now is 30 days with Longo Toyota and I still have the powertrain warranty (barely, 3,000 miles to go)

I have rattling when my A/C is on, i'm sure longo can take care of it...

The second issue is the infamous 3rd gear grinding (I have a 2005, thought it was a 2003 problem)

I can still take it to Longo Toyota, but I believe a Nissan Dealership should look at it instead. Can anyone recommend highly, a nissan service department? If so, why do you recommend them.

The third gear grind was a problem with 03-05's. I have an 03 and really haven't had any problems at all with my tranny. I have probably seen (on here) more about 04-05's having the tranny problem (probably because people were surprised that the problem had persisted). It sucks that you're having it though and hopefully it gets taken care of.

My dealership on HAWAII is awesome, but then again most dealerships here are, suprisingly. I think it has to do with the size of the island and how most business is done by referalls. But in regard to your OP, can't help you. Just letting you know good ones exist

You have to go to Lexus to get a "good" service department, but they probably won't want to deal with Nissan either.

West Covina and Performance Nissan (in Duarte) always get the best reviews. Avoid the one downtown, it's practically third world.

Santa Monica nissan is average in my experience.
