I used to drive a '90 Mustang GT, and people definitely looked at me funny when I had it.

I like to get around people and floor it as much as the next guy, but I NEVER ride anyone. As soon as I see a gap, I nail it... Then, I chill out. Tailgating, though? Why? If they stop, and you can't stop in time, it's your fault and your Z will never be the same.

I know someone who was being tailgated and on purpose hit the brakes..

I've actually noticed I tend to drive slower than normal now because my car is too noticable for the police and because of stupid rock-chips.

What's up with the newbs infesting this forum!? I'm glad OP lives in PA and not in TX. Don't blame the Z for your road rage. You need to seek counseling before you kill someone on the road. Or better yet, sell the Z to someone who is more responsible.

I'm a pretty slow z driver. =( I drive just at or slightly below speed of traffic. I've had a couple close calls that made me one of the more alert and defensive drivers on the road.
But to add to that, I know who I can beat. I know its fast, nothing to prove. If I had something to prove, I'd get a Hummer, bolt on 1000 chrome accessories, and give it a 12" lift.
