FINALLY ordered my Z
...well, thanks to everyone who helped me out with the ordering questions I had. I had to go to Santa Fe to get a good deal(I live in Albuquerque) but I finally filled out the paperwork and put down my deposit for an Enthusiast Chrome Silver 350Z. The dealer won't be actually sending in the order for production until September (that's the soonest they can start ordering their next batch of Zs), but as soon as they can send it in, they'll simply give me a call to make sure that I don't want to do any last minute changes, then the car should be here between December and January. If anyone else here is from New Mexico, and they are looking into ordering a Z, I would highly recommend Santa Fe Nissan (best deal I found in the state). I got MSRP, my deposit is refundable (non refundable in Albuquerque) and there was no $300 Nissan state advertising fee like in Albuquerque. Well worth it for a 45 minute drive.
DAMN, I AM ALL PSYCHED UP !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck, sounds like you got a good deal, a lot of people were speculating about paying over MSRP, sounds like there are enough dealers and nissan is making enough cars to keep prices in check.
I don't know if you are keeping your integra, or if you have ever owned a RWD sports car but you will love it. I once owned a Z3 and can tell you the steering feel is much better with no power being sent to the front wheels. Also no torque steer that I hated when I owned a manual transmission maxima.
Hope everything works out for you.

Hey, congrats on the new Z! I hear ya about the wait though, I'm not expecting mine until after October. And to listen to everyone talk about getting their cars in the coming weeks is pretty tough! But fun!

...thanks guys. Unfortunately, I do have to let go of the RSX-s (there is no way I could afford both cars), but I am sure it's worth it. Only 5 more months to go.....

....dealer told me delivery would be sometime between December and January. Going in I was hoping to have the car no later than the beginning of January, so this was fairly good news to me...hope they are right. Well rahilio, looks like you and me are going to be stuck waiting while everyone else gets their pre-ordered Z's ...

Waiting to pre-order also
Hi,
I also recently decided to purchase a Z, which I was told will happen in Sept. with a Nov/Dec delivery. I got MSRP with $1,000.00 down. I did it all over the phone. I live in N. CA and the dealer is Shingle Springs Nissan.
Although I will have to wait 4-5 months for my car, I am excited and look forward to the all the comments from those who get their Z before me. Congrats!
