You're not alone at all. I feel the exact same way, I even have a beater and I drive it only once a week now lol. I've put probably less than 100 miles last month on my beater and about 1000 on the Z. I find reasons to drive the damn car. Bottom line is that we enjoy driving it, and that's all that matters.

 

I take her for granted from time to time but when there's an open road ahead and I rev it to 7k, I remember why I love her so much...

 

I had mines for almost a year and still love it. And its even an automatic and still love the way it drives. Long live the heritage.

Yeah guys... I've had mine for almost 4 years now. Every time I get over 3K and hear the Popcharger sound out to that beautiful exhaust tone; I shoot my wad. I have V8 race cars that are louder and more powerful. But, it's just the way the Z sings that gets me through to the bone. Great DD that keeps me in the zone.

 

For every gallon of gas a Prius owner saves, I waste nineteen, driving for no other reason than for the hell of it. Last night, I took out the Z at 2:30 in the morning after having a huge argument with my girlfriend (or ex girlfriend, now) because it made me feel at ease being behind the wheel. And, there are numerous times I'll skip class just so I can drive the Z.

 

i know exactly how u feel. i love my Z soooo much. i just wish i had more money to work on it with

wait until u have even a small accident like me, i got hit in my back bumper by a ***** who has no insurance, a lilttel dense, but i dont even wanna look at my Z for a week, just go back to my v6 accord.... DAMN *****

Yea I used to feel like that the first month I bought my Z.
Now though, sometimes I don't feel like driving it at all because it's likely that I'll scrape my front since the car's very low.

 

i love driving mine but i hate putting miles on it

its kind of weird

 

why have a car and not driving it. I wish I have more time to drive mine and put more miles on it. 2004 and only got 15,000 miles.

 

it feels that way now, then it will get old, then when you get more stuff done to it, they flame rekindles itself.

 

I cant really say much..cause I just bought my Z last week..Ha and it is..wow? words can describe how it feels to drive my Z every day compared to my cougar I had for 3 years..the money was well worth ownership of a Z. yep.

 

lol basically it is just like a girl, u want to ride more when she is new lol...
thinking about buying a honda CBR, so i wont put too much miles on my Z...

dont bash on me for being a young one with a z but heres my story..

my parents got me my Z as a birthday, when i started driving it i couldnt stop, we got it when it had 3,000 miles and in one year it was up to 25,000!!! the worst thing was i had to wait about 3 months till my dad let me drive it until he knew i could handle it...3 months in the garage just staring at it!!! i would wake up in the middle of the to go to the bathroom and i would walk in the garage and just stare or sometimes just sit in it... the insurance papers came in the mail about the milage thing when we had to send them in on how many miles the Z had, thats when the parents noticed how many miles were on it and got pissd !! lol

 

im so inlove that my wife is so mad of me maximizing my credit card for mods!
