When the fun start to wear off that is when you start modding. Then the car never gets old. 2 1/2 years later and I'm still in love. She is my baby.

Time cures all infatuations, but it is fun while it lasts, so enjoy it.

I truly hope your being sarcastic? If not, I traded my E46 M3 for my Z and I love it more than the M. I traded the M because of maintanence expenses for a warrantied Z. I love my Z and love it more than the M3 because of several reasons where the M lacks.

The Z isn't my first coupe, nor is it my first "sports car" and from the variety I have driven, I can tell you the Z is unique. Very unique!

It gets in your blood. I've had it for 7 months and I can't stop thinking about what I'm driving when I drive it. I never tire of looking at it when I come up to it in a parking lot. I park it far from the crowd if at all possible out in the open. Maybe its being 70 but I don't think I will ever consider my Z just another car.

Wow 70 and driving a sports car like the 350z. You are really young at heart! I'm 36 and own a 95 Benz C36 AMG, 03 350z. The Benz is rare, refined sleeper. The Z is the opposite.

The first week, I wanted to sleep in the Z - barely restrained myself. It's so much fun to drive that I hate to get to wherever I'm going and will take a coupla extra detours to delay the moment of having to turn off the key.
After 2.5 years, the urge to sleep in it is gone, and I only need to check on it in the garage a half dozen times a day.
Warning - The parking lot paranoia definitely seems to grow over time.
Nice to see I'm not the only Znut. We should look for group rates on therapy.

Hey Blooster I totally agree about the parking lot paranoia...my gosh the first month I bought my Z I woke up at every tiny little bump I heard outside...thank goodness that has started to subside and I'm sleeping again, LOL :-D

As for the obsession, every time I get a compliment in the parking lot or blast down the highway and hear the engine/exhaust I'm reminded why I love this car

I know how you feel I bought my Z feb of 05 and I still love her. My g/f gets jelous because the attention the car gets and she keeps telling me my head gets bigger and bigger each time some one complaints (sp) my ride. To me the Z has that unique feel when I drive her no other car that i have driven so far comes close maybe thats why we are so attached to them. I think i am going to take a drive now since we are talking about this lol

Man, I had mine for about 2 months and I'm always finding excuses to drive it. I also own a 93 BMW 325 which is my dd and I told myself when I bought my Z that I would only drive it on the weekends. So much for that! The Z is so damn beautiful I cannot stop staring at it. Whenever I park to go where I need to go I always catch myself looking back at her admiring it. The Z is a sexy beeatch!

I'm in my room right now and can't stop thinking about my car since it's currently in the bodyshop for some minor job. I can't take it. I'm literally like going crazy.

I don't think I'll ever trade my Z for another car.

Do you guys feel the same about your cars or am I retarded?

Friends, I think I'm in love...
I love mine but I only drive it on the weekends. 03 with only 21k miles.

Hobby? This is my hobby man. Thats why I have 5 cars! Three which are only for track-use only.

Search within your own garage, who knows? You might find a hobby in your Z.

I'm glad they're so many people that feel the same as I do! Even though it hasn't been very long, and it may wear off a bit as some claim, I know i'll still love this car no matter what.
