haha. I couldn't imagine driving for more than that with the Z. It would get pretty scary on long stretches in the mainland (America).
Nah, it's fun. I'd love to take my Z on the road to Hana though. That would be a Z dream trip for me. I know it's on Maui.... But, man ... I love that road. Of course, I'd want it all to myself at 3am in the morning with a slower return trip later in the day so I could stop and take in all the sites up close. Man, I miss the islands.

Yeah, I had lots of fun on Maui last time I was there. From what I remember, the roads were more stretched out. I miss it as well.

Vacaville (near Sacramento CA) to Phoenix AZ through Los Angeles, non-stop. It was fun, but once I hit the Grapevine (I-5 near LA), my hood and windshield were ruined by wind gusts picking up gravel and trash.

I've driven from columbus Ohio, to Jacksonville florida. Wasn't to bad, but I have a base M/T with no cruise control. That's the only thing that sucked. Can I get CC added?

350 miles from Dallas to Houston. Drove to Austin then from Austin to Houston. Nice trip, drove alone. I remember getting around 28 mpg.

Round trip from Kansas City to Key West. A total of 6 days on the road, approximately 60 hours. The last 2 days my butt was getting sore.

The Z isn't a long range cruiser, IMHO.

it may sound retarded, but it's the logic i am using.
I totaly agree !!! rent a car and beat on it!!

Most of my long road trips are by myself. I'd say 80%. I love to drive so it's a good reason to get out and think on the open road. Nice tunes, red vines, coffee and a cell phone is all I need most of the time.

Funny .... But, I do Pepsi with the redvines sometimes instead; it works just as well.
Maybe through in a Reese's PBC into the favorful mix.

I'm picturing Bevis and Butthead roadtrip with Butthead saying "Caffine ha, ha, ha, rocks, ha, ha, ha ..... Duh, what was that?"

Nothing like blasting from Palm Springs to Las Vegas with the windows down ballin' at 111mph.
Just a magical number for me. 333 would be better but can't gets the car to go that fast.
So I just have to drive 111 three times as far. Weird Humor ...

Its held up well.
I had a 95 Lexus SC400 which I handed it over to my wife after I bought the Z.On long trips I would to 110-125 easliy and that car had 200K miles. At 100mph the rpm's were at 2700rpm. Those V8's are the **** you dont even feel them when your driving.
