My oldest bimmer (87 325is) has 250k now on stock bottom end and has done this route/speeds at least 20 times. (got that car at 40k) .If the Z cant hang then its the last nissan I ever buy. Its held up well.

SO... how many tickets have you gotten in the last 15 years?

Speeding....Just 2. None on record. Your welcome to check.

The trick is not to be an @ss when speeding. Pass at normal speeds, correct lane, and correct distance. Dont speed in populated areas.Of course know where all the speed traps are. Aside from knowing how operate/read your radar detector properly.

Happy Motoring

I took my Z on a 1600 mile round trip the week I got it. My girlfriend goes to school in SC and I'm in NJ. I took the car down and picked her up and then went to Deals Gap for the weekend to get used to the car.

I've done 4500 miles in a few days time. I drove from San Diego to Colorado Springs CO and then up to Cheyenne WY to check out a school and then to North Carolina. I stopped in North Carolina for awhile to visit with family and change my oil and then drove up to Milwaukee WI.

I was getting about 29mpg with my Turbo. I did 5 over the speed limit the whole way. I think my best tank of gas was 445miles in one tank.

1,400 miles one way non-stop (except for gas). Did that three times and will never do it again. California can be SOOOOO boring to drive through.

Default 1762 Miles from VA Beach, VA to Aurora, CO

I drove 1762 miles from Virginia Beach to Aurora, Colorado. I made two major stops for rest in Paducah, KY and Topeka, KS. The Z did well on gas mileage--averaged 30mpg cruising in 6th gear on the highway. I enjoyed the drive until my foot started to become sore--I have the base model '06 Z, no cruise control.

I had a bra and hated the look. Go with the clear bra. You will never regret it.

6 hours of track driving on and off
120 miles back.

All in a period of 10 hours.
