Default Which model of Z?

I am in the market for a Z (03-07) and a 03 caught my eye at a dealer. It is listed as a base model in the ad. But, it has: leather, heated seat controls, cruise control on the right side of the steering wheel, and a Bose cd changer/tape deck for the radio. Is this a base model? or Which one might it be? She has 15k on her and they are asking $19,900 for it. What would a good price be for this car? I know about the 03 issues, just wondering what I should offer on this car if everything seems to check out.

if it has all that, leather, bose, etc, and wasn't added later, its a touring or over. Unless you funds are tight don't consider anything less than an 07.

It is a Touring model.

Price sounds a little high but 15,000 is very low.

Do carfax and have mechanic you pay & trust check it out for you. Also check the maintenance records.

Thanks for all the replys guys. I am going to go look at it and drive it either Friday or Saturday. If everything checks out and I am comfortable with it, what would be a good offer on it? I too agree that $19,900 is high, but again she does only have 15k mi on her. Any thoughts? The car is pretty clean - no door dings, no curb rash on the rims, front has no major rock chips.

As previously posted, it's not a base.

But unless they are a Nissan dealer, chances are they really don't know the difference in the models.

My advice is go for the newest model year you can afford.

I have an '03 and the only problem I've had is the tire feathering issue. But that a said, I'd advise against buying a used '03. I've been lucky.

I guess it all comes down to if you feel lucky.

Well I guess it wasnt meant to be. I went by tonight and the car was gone. Either sold or someone took it home for the night. Its a Chevrolet dealer, so I guess they prob arent sure which model it is.
