You only win if they were trying to sell you a Base at a Base price. If they were selling you an Enthusiast at that price, imagine what you coulda drove out in a Base for.

I used to drive an EVO in England (company car - worked for Mitsubishi) it was fast and probably one of the best cornering cars I have driven. It is at home on Britains windy roads where I grew up.

Out there the stock models used to be FQ 280,340,360 and they also produced the 440 in limited numbers

Actually, both. I bought an '03 LS back in '05 (traded it for my Evo in '06), and made a bunch of good friends over here. The Evo forums suck ***** compared to here.

New red huh, I think there was a red one there. Just did not seem like something id like. I wanted white/carbon silver/black. So yeah Happy with what I got for now. I just want to break it in and take it for a faster spin, now its all 3-4k ***** lol.

 

Dude, you need to break it in proper (run the **** out of it). A lot of tuners I know say that the first time the oil is heated up to normal operating temps the engine is broken in. You'll find all kinds of different opinions on tis subject, but performance engine builders usually break their engines in on dynos. 3 WOT 3rd gear pulls to redline and letting the car engine-brake back down to idle (along with some other things) seems to be the norm. I broke my Evo in on the test drive (hell, got in a race too) and my engine couldn't be happier now at 26k miles.

All your choice though, since I know what teh brochure says.

I don't know why so many people are saying you got ripped off for the car, you actually got the car for barely anything over invoice. And like another member on here said, you would have ripped the dealer off at that price for an Enthusiast. The dealer didn't make much money off of you, but they still did. If they didn't, then the sales manager would be looking for a new job like the next day. Discounts are not necessary to move the Z, but homies make it possible.

Thanks man, I love my Z. I personally don't like those buttons on the steering wheel and I will get my OWN LSD for it once its turbo. But turbo is way's off, now I got more pressing things like my school and so forth.

I just got mine for $26800... Was gonna be $27,300 but he said he'll give me $500 more discounts... It's an 07 though.
