at least 18... maybe 21, but there's something about being able to drink, drive and carry a handgun all at the same time that doesn't sit well with me.

The memo actually said that my wheels were starting to need it anyway and the road was getting noisy. (The infamous feathering sound and inner bead wear that's all over this forum.)
Slightly bad wear + new wheels and tires = alignment needed.

While I understand that a lot of younger kids drive crazy you have to think that a lot of accidents are due to inexperience. In that case it probably wouldn't matter what year you raised it to.

But than again I'm in Fla...just as many old ppl cause accidents as the young ones

An inexperienced driver is better off than an immature driver IMO.

Yeah there should be a Bell Curve for drivers. When you get over a certain age your *** just needs to walk or stay home. My grandmother is getting there.

it's so easy to say that but imagine being 70 or so and being told you have to give your license up. That like losing your last bit of freedom.

I had to take my dad's license away

If you can't drive, then you have no business on the road. it sucks but it's better than killing a bunch of people because you get the gas and brakes confused.

That's why a drivers license should require a set amount of hours of practice for both city & highway conditions (similar to a pilot's license). If states were smart they could generate a ton of revenue AND increqase the quality of drivers on the road!!!!

Well I work at Bk, don't really consider it much of a job though.

But driving at 18? What difference does it make from 16?
