I just placed a deposit on a '04 roadster. This is my 2nd Z and 5th Nissan. I'm really looking forward to this car. It is my first open car in 35 years. Can't wait to drive in comfort with no roof. I've been riding motorcycles for quite a while but the Z is more comfortable, and has a better stereo.
The dealer says I should have the car around the middle of July. I've placed an order (read wish list) for a Lemans Sunset Touring version. I'm really not picky which I get. The other available is the enthusiast version. I like the leather, heated seats. These old bones need that warmth in the winter.
While I wait I'm going to lurk around and learn as much as I can about the ups and downs of owning the Z.

Thanks for the welcome from everyone. In answer to your question about the bike. My main ride is a 1999 BMW K1200RS. I also have a couple of vintage Hondas that I have retored/customized. They are just toys and not serious riders. When I gat the Z I expect that there will be some time that the bikes will think they have been abandoned.
I'm out of town on business and have not spoken to my dealer recently. I need to call and see if there is any news on the new Z yet. Do I sound like a kid waiting for Xmas?
