Talking Test Drove a Z

Ok. so a couple days ago i spotted an 04 PPW Z sitting outside of a budget car dealership... I have always wanted to drive a Z so i decided to test drive it, although they were asking 22k for it which i know is way too much considering the 37k miles it had... but back to the drive... It was amazing. I am used to driving 4cyls and have even drove a 300zx before but this thing was amazing. Purrred at any rpm... I was debating between an E36 M3, and the Z. The Z just won me over hands down. So ive decided that i am now in the market for a Z. i just thought id share my experience with the Z.

PS plz dont bash me for my Noob post. I just cant believe how amazingly nice the z was.

22k for a 04 with 30k miles isn't that much and is acctually pretty reasonable, unless of course your thinking of buying salvage.

How did you like the noisy sound of the transmission when you test drove it?

then what do you think of this, found this in a newspaper ad today, that had and 05 Z and thats all i know about it. Coming from a local NISSAN dealership

my fist thought was it is, standard and a base model. but never know, last time i saw ad like that it said base and standard for a reasonable price, i go check the car out its a freaking touring, with nice frost seats, and a nismo exhaust , well that just made me think anyways.

I have Z feaver too. Ive had mine for about a month and it has right at 2k miles on it! gas is getting me now though, we're paying 3.13 for premium now. Thats 53.00 to fill up, or roughly 200 a month. ALOT better than my sentra though!

When I first bought my Z the power was very satisfying...but I soon got bored with it. So now I plan on s/c after the winter. I will always love how it handles however.

.
cost of ownership between the Z and the E36 is like night and day, get the M3 if you got a deep pocket.

Careful with the budget dealerships as a large % of the cars on the lots are from insurance auctions, usually considered third rate vehicles.
