No need 2 kill them, I think preying mantis's posses very good kung fu skills. They can take care of other lightweight work for you.

Praying Mantis idea FTW!

They'll get rid of your mouse problems too...

I've seen one devour a hornet as well.

Finding one in your car is better than what happened to me! At my old work, I worked in a warehouse that had offices built into it. I sat down at my desk, and I guess he was dangling there, and I didnt see him. I felt something on my face, and figured it was hair, so i brushed my hand across my face to move my "hair"...I then feel, and SEE the spider run down my cheek. I FREAKED OUT. It was HUGE. I started screaming, and hit it off of my face. The spider was literally as big around as sayyyyy, a coffee cup. DISGUSTING. I got sick to my stomach

I guess I better start breeding mantis. I have tons of long-leggs and tiny white spiders in my garage/basement. Too bad I can't supersize it to keep the deer out of my backyard.

You should look at getting a car capsule cover. I just got in the mail and will probably put the Z in the bag this weekend. My father used to use a bag for his car and the trouble with some of those bags is that it traps moisture in and thats not good. He switched to the capsule and never had a problem. Its like $350.00 I think its worth it.

Maybe you could just subtly persuade them to leave?

you should try buying some spider traps. They are really cheap, but they have some kind of scent that attracts the spiders and they are extremely sticky. It just collects/kills a lot of spiders. try a couple of those in your garage i think you will see a big decrease in the amount spiders

feel ya there....one time i was cutting grass at my grandparents place close to some hedges....got to the end and the same thing happened to me, thought it was hair, brushed it, then he ran ACROSS my face....about the size of the bottom omf a drink can....i FREAKED, jumped off the lawnmower, saw the spider on the ground and stomped him for a good 20 seconds. I HATE spiders, i'm not scared of them until they get on me...so this was pretty fookin horrible...haha

I had one of those whitish spiders die in my 3rd brake light housing. It's still there, and its all obvious every time I look at it, so easy to see. And of course short of removing the damn light cover or whatever, it's going to be there forever. I think it purposely crawled in there to die, just to spite me.
