Hi all!
My moment of exhiliration came this past Saturday when my finance and I took an overnight 350 mile trip to pick up our new Z, a Brickyard Performace. As far as I could search, it was one of three within 500 miles of me. The options it came with are aero, mats, kick plates and splash guards.
We picked it up from Benson Nissan in Spartanburg, SC with 7 miles on the odometer. Joey, the sales manager, was able to give me a good feeling of doing business and gave me the price that I was willing to pay.
The Z is VIN # 15858, manufactured in April, 2003.
Benson Nissan also performed an alignment on the car, finding very little off from the specs.
We had to be back home by 4 to get ready for a wedding, so the dealership opened early for me at 8 am so that we could make it back. The paperwork and showing the details of the car took about 30-45 minutes and we were headed back.
When we got back home, our beautiful car had a lot of wet road soil on it and we were shocked that it looked so dirty.
I washed it yesterday. Did not use any wax yet, as I am waiting on some CrystalGuard to arrive.
This car sounds and feels great. I love the stock rumble and it hugs the road. Shifting is easy.
So far, I've driven about 430 miles and can't keep from smiling each and every mile.
mgk

Can I make a suggestion to you new owners. While your paint is perfect, find a good clear bra installer and get it put on before chipping occurs. Your cars are dark, chips would look aweful on them. Remember GOOD installer is the key. The product is only as good as the installer. Mine came out perfect, you cant even see it but I did my homework to find an installer that gave me a 60 day refund policy for any reason. If you are having problems finding an installer, PM me and I will try to help.
Enjoy your Z....Jeff
