Just ordered My Auto Art Z
I just ordered my auto art Z from www.diecastfast.com
They priced it for only $45.99 (most places want $60-$70)
The Z is supposed to be very authetic with carpet and everything.
I will repost next week when it comes in

I have the Le Mans Sunset (just like my Touring)
It is very authentic, best die cast scale model I've ever had (I have about 40 1/18 scales) Auto Art rules!!!

You want black?
*busts out the krylon*
yeah I noticed that Maisto, Hotwheel, (insert your fav 1/18 scale manufacturer here) don't like to make black cars. I guess they won't catch a kids eye when its sitting on the shelves at your local Hobby store.
I'm personally into the Tamiya 1/24 kits where you can custom paint any part and maybe even swap your own aftermarket wheels. Doing this to a 1/18 is a pain in the @ss.

buragos are 1/18, same as maisto, and most other scale models. i personally dont like the auto art ones because they cost twice as much as a burago or maisto model, with little difference in quality. i have a 1/18 ferrari enzo, lamborghini mucielago, couple vipers, and all of them were ~20$ or less

AutoArt models r far more detailed than bburago or maisto. Paint finish is alot better, shutlines r tighter, lights r highly detailed, badges r not stickers, and the interior quality is in another league.....all switches/door handles are painted, roof is lined, full carpeting.....never seen that in a bburago or maisto model. The Z model in particular is one of the most detailed AutoArt has done, even the pedals r painted silver with the black dots, the scuff plates too, and the rear hatch has lining and a chrome plated strut bar panel.

I got my brother a 1:18 AutoArt Mini Cooper S because he likes those for some reason and I can't afford the real thing. It was pretty detailed. They even had the tiny little black squirter nozzles on the hood.

If you spray the Testors with multiple layers (2-3) very thin (at leat half hour between every coat). The finish comes out perfect leaving all the lines on the contour of the body.
(optional) The interior doesn't involve alot of colors so I reccommend Pactra acrylic paints. It's five bucks at Wal-Mart and you get a whole set of like 12 colors. (make sure its the auto paints..not military)
I love acrylics because it dries really fast and doesn't run like the oil based Testors. They're perfect for the interior because once the car is enclosed you never touch the interior again.
LIST:
TESTORS: CEMENT $0.99 (walmart)
TESTORS Model Masters can GLOSS BLACK (walmart) $3.49
(optional) PACTRA Acrylic Auto paints (walmart) $4.95
You can use the same Testors Model Masters cans on the 1/18 scale cars. You just have to dissemble some parts and use fine masking tape.
good luck.
